It is intended to be the sequel to Black Panther (2018). It is being directed by Rayan Coogler who co-wrote the screenplay with Joe Robert Cole. It was started Chadwick Boseman as T’Challa (Black Panther). In Black Panther (2018), T’Challa was crowned king of Wakanda following his father’s death. But Black Panther was officially announced in October 2014, and Boseman made his first appearance as the character in Captain America Civil War (2016). In Black Panther 2 movie, director Coogler wanted to see how T'Challa would grow as a king in future. But unfortunately, Boseman died from colon cancer on August 28, 2020.
